Stone & Life

We have left the year 2023 behind.

-

Our magazine is the magazine for October-November-December 2023. However, we will meet you in January. There are two important reasons for this. We waited for the 2023 export data to be announced. We wanted to be able to see our situation fully on a sectoral basis. The Xiamen Fair will be held in March, and we acted with the idea that our magazine would be ready during that fair.

The first issue of 2024 will be our magazine covering the months of January-February-March. We plan to present it to you in April after Xiamne. Of course, it will also be Marble’s 2024 issue.

After this preliminary information, we hope that 2024 will bring peace to the whole world and be the year of peace, tranquility and success for our country.

You can see 2023 export data and sectoral evaluations in our magazine. In summary, 2023 has been a very difficult year for all countries of the world and of course for our country. Wars, earthquakes, fires and increasing economic problems all over the world...

Frankly, current conditions do not give much hope for 2024...

Contractions in markets are worrying. Therefore, industry components need to review their sales strategies. We need to consciously take precautions to maintain our current position, perhaps even downsizing...

The cost burden puts serious pressure on businesses, especially energy and labor costs. Increases in energy prices; While affecting production costs, increases in labor costs have also reached the point of almost zeroing business profit margins.

The situation in TL/Exchange rates was another factor affecting the economic environment. Low exchange rates affected costs by increasing risks for businesses engaged in foreign trade. When shrinking markets are added to this...

In summary; The conditions we are in are not encouraging at all... However, we should not darken the back of our neck!

We hope that the situation may improve a little after the second half of 2024. Especially foreign exchange/TL equivalents can provide relief to exporters, of course, if the stagnation momentum in the current markets can change direction. We will live and see...

You can find activities and fair evaluations carried out in the last three months in our magazine. Of course, we think that different topics and projects that fit the concept of our magazine will also attract your attention.

Hoping to meet with good developments in our new issue…
