We, as ICBC Turkey, would like to state that we are proud to be selected as “International Bank of the Year” in Turkey by the “Turcomoney” Magazine for the year 2018.
We hereby would like to thank the “Turcomoney” jury for this award that clearly reflects the significant achievements we have made since ICBC’s entry into the Turkish banking sector in May 2015, as the first Chinese bank penetrating into the Turkish market.
As at the end of 2018, we as ICBC Turkey, are privileged to dedicate the broad branch network and vast product range of ICBC into the usage of our clients which is one of the largest and leading banks in the world offering comprehensive financial solutions and services to its clients on a global extent with its extensive global presence through 420 overseas institutions in 46 countries. Having said that, acting on the axis of the strategy in connecting Europe to Asia with a special emphasis on the surrounding countries and regions, ICBC Turkey continues to seize the opportunities arising from the Belt and Road Initiative as well as help enhancing the already well-established trade cooperation between Turkey and China. Whilst adapting to local conditions, in the lights of the global vision and guidance of the ICBC Group, ICBC Turkey has successfully managed to achieve market competitiveness through a structural transformation and strong employee synergy built by a noteworthy integration and harmonization of the Turkish and Chinese cultures. Moreover, great efforts and importance were adhered to establish extensive corporate governance practices and regulations parallel with our dedicated principles and target for building a better business structure.
