Kyrgyzstan’s GDP exceeded 1 trillion soms

Aklikbek Caparov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan stated that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) exceeded 1 trillion soms (11 billion 235 million US dollars). Caparov also said that in the 11 months of this year, GDP amounted to 1 trillion 72.6 billion soms and the national budget exceeded 6 billion 404 million dollars. Caparov emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is on the path of developmen­t and that there is unity, prosperity, knowledge and strong political will.

Aklikbek Caparov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan stated that the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) exceeded 1 trillion soms (11 billion 235 million US dollars).

Caparov spoke at the ceremony of presenting the certificat­es of honor and gratitude given on behalf of the President of the Council of Ministers.

Stating that the GDP was 1 trillion 72.6 billion soms in the 11 months of this year, Caparov stated that the national budget exceeded 6 billion 404 million dollars.

Caparov said, “We have built and are opening hundreds of schools in the past 2.5 years. I attended the opening of 2 schools the other day. According to the State Constructi­on Committee, 128 schools will be opened this year. 110 of them are new school buildings.”

Stating that reputable internatio­nal financial institutio­ns have made good evaluation­s of the Kyrgyz economy, Caparov said, “Our present, our future and the future of our children depend on the labor and contributi­on of every worker, teacher, doctor, builder and energy worker. We have entered the path of developmen­t. Our unity, prosperity, knowledge and strong political will there is.”
