Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum was held in Baku

Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade attended the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum and met with business people in Baku.

Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade stated that the relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan are advanced in every field and said, “The ties establishe­d between the two countries allow us to look to the future with hope. Our mutual trade is on a continuous and steady increase. Mutual investment­s are increasing tremendous­ly. “Tourism relations are developing,” he said.

Noting that many government officials and managers of large and medium-sized companies from both countries attended the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum, Bolat said, “There is nothing that we would not be able to achieve when together., Türkiye and Azerbaijan represent a very strong alliance in the region, by joining force and working together “

In addition to Minister Bolat, Göksel Aşan, Presidenti­al Finance Office Head, Şeref Malkoç, Chief Public Auditor, Mikayıl Cabbarov, Azerbaijan­i Minister of Economy, Mecnun Memmedov, Minister of Agricultur­e, Teymur Musayev, Minister of Health, Advisor to the President Şahmar Mövsümov, Şahin Bağırov, Chairman of the Customs Committee also attended the meeting. THE TARGET IS TO INCREASE TRADE WITH AZERBAIJAN TO 15 BILLION DOLLARS

Expressing his pleasure to visit Azerbaijan, Bolat met with Mikayil Cabbarov, Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan.

Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade visited the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan in Baku, where he came to participat­e in the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum. Bolat and Cabbarov, who held bilateral and inter-delegation meetings, discussed the steps that can be taken to increase the trade volume between Türkiye and Azerbaijan to 15 billion dollars, cooperatio­n opportunit­ies in the field of logistics and developmen­ts in the global economy.

Bolat, who shared about the meeting on his X account, said:

“On the 100th anniversar­y of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the founding of our Republic, we continue to work for a stronger Türkiye and a stronger Azerbaijan.”
