Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Business Forum Held in Bishkek
At the Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Business Forum held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries was emphasized. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said, “Trade relations with Turkey are a strategic advantage of Kyrgyzstan.” Minister of Economy and Trade of Kyrgyzstan Amangeldiyev said, “Turkey is one of the main trade partners of Kyrgyzstan. We invite Turkish businessmen to invest in our country.”
Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Business Forum was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Speaking at the opening of the KyrgyzstanTurkey Business Forum, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov said, “We consider the development of trade and economic relations with Turkey as a strategic advantage of Kyrgyzstan. As the government, we are ready for new ideas and new projects that will improve the relations between the two countries.
I invite Turkish businessmen to invest in Kyrgyzstan. The development of trade and economic relations with Turkey is a great strategic advantage for Kyrgyzstan.”
Stating that 2023 is a very beneficial year in bilateral relations, Japarov reminded that the Kyrgyzstan Trade Representative Office was opened in Ankara for the stability of bilateral trade. Japarov pointed out that there has been an increase in the joint trade volume between the two countries and listed the products exported from Kyrgyzstan to Turkey.

Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Amangeldiyev made a presentation on investment opportunities and potential in Kyrgyzstan and said,
“Turkey is one of the main trade partners of Kyrgyzstan. It is very important for us to implement big projects in our country. We have made important arrangements in the tax law and introduced tax exemption for investors. In Kyrgyzstan, there are opportunities for cooperation in the field of energy, industry, trade, tourism and finance. Turkish businessmen should evaluate these sectors. The Turkish side should use the potential of the brand “Great Silk Road”. There are also significant opportunities in the banking sector. In order to speed up transfers and foreign exchange transactions, Turkish banks should open representative offices in Kyrgyzstan.”
