Al Khawaneej Police Station surpasses emergency response targets
MAJOR General Ali Ghanem, Acting Assistant Commander-in-chief for Community Happiness and Logistics Support at Dubai Police, praised Al Khawaneej Police Station for its remarkable achievement of a 96 per cent security coverage rate and an average emergency response time of just two minutes and 26 seconds, exceeding the target of three minutes.
This achievement reflects a significant
97.9 per cent sense of security in the community.
These achievements were highlighted during Ghanem’s inspection visit, in the presence of Major General Dr Tariq Mohammed Tahlak, Director of Naif Police Station, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Police Stations; Colonel Ali Rashid Markhan Al Kaabi, Director of Al Khawaneej Police Station; Colonel Ahmed Mohamed Al Muhairi, Deputy Director of the Inspection and Control Department, and Colonel Khalifa Khalid Al Awadi, Deputy Director of Al Khawaneej Police Station, along with several officers and employees.
Ghanem praised the team’s professionalism and commitment to enhancing security, promoting a safe environment, and providing excellent police services, thus improving community happiness and quality of life.
Al Khawaneej Police Station initiated several projects to boost community engagement and safety, including ‘School Security’, ‘Reconciliation is Better’ (Al Solh Khair), ‘Security Teams’, ‘Safe Roads’, ‘Smart Farms’, and ‘Your Voice Is Heard’, showcasing its proactive stance in tackling modern security challenges.
Furthermore, the Traffic Registration Section was acknowledged for its dedication to road safety and effective awareness campaigns. The Criminal Registration Section and the Customer Happiness Section were also recognised for processing 4,035 transactions in 2023, including 3,887 smart transactions.
The station reported outstanding Job Satisfaction and Employee Motivation Index rates of 99.9 per cent and 194.6 per cent, respectively. Ghanem emphasised the ongoing commitment of Dubai Police’s leadership to advancing staff qualifications as well as helping them reach their full potential.
