Abu Dhabi Crown Prince approves 1st tranche of housing-benefits packages
UNDER the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has approved the initial disbursement of the 2024 housing and benefits packages for Emiratis in Abu Dhabi.
The first batch of housing and benefits packages, valued at Dhs2.18 billion, has been distributed amongst 1,502 citizens across the emirate.
The housing benefits package encompasses housing loans, ready-built houses, and residential land grants, with a total value exceeding Dhs2.082 billion.
Furthermore, 95 citizens, including senior citizens, retirees with low incomes, and families of deceased citizens, have been exempted from housing loan payments, providing relief amounting to over Dhs98 million.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, remarked, “The distribution of this year’s first housing benefits package highlights our wise leadership’s continued dedication to meeting the needs of our citizens and addressing their housing demands.”
This initiative seeks to provide adequate housing that meets their needs, enhances their welfare, and supports their stability and overall quality of life, thereby nurturing the continuous holistic development of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
