La Ville Hotel & Suites adds boutique bite to Dubai

DUBAI NOW HAS a second low-level boutique hotel in the heart of the city following the recent opening of La Ville Hotel & Suites at CityWalk Dubai.

Like the Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre a short drive away, this hotel targets upscale travellers with its 77 rooms, 11 suites and 68 apartments.

It becomes the second hotel in the city to join Marriott International’s Autograph Collection – after Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa – and the five-floor property is markedly different from the third, the 503-room Lapita resort at Dubai Parks and Resorts, whose opening is imminent.

Rooms contain black-and-white headboard etchings and sharp furnishings, but command a premium price point with Deluxe rooms in the range of AED1,700/1,800 (before taxes) in the first quarter. Designs were handled by Woods Bagot.

Apartments are located to the right and hotel rooms to the left as guests exit the lifts. One-bed apartments (serviced three times weekly) cost AED27,600 a month.

One of the key attractions is a central courtyard which adjoins the airey Chival all-day-dining restaurant. Other F&B includes the Lobby Café, Graze Gastro Grill, Grapeskin wine bar and LookUp rooftop bar.
