Four Seasons Paris reaches for the stars
THE FOUR SEASONS HOTEL GEORGE V PARIS is hopeful that it will boast Michelin stars across three of its venues – believed to be a European first – when the famous culinary awards reports on February 9. Christian Le Squer at Le Cinq (top) was awarded three stars last February and now the hotel waits to see if Le George (Simone Zanoni) and cosey L’Orangerie (David Bizet) will be similarly honoured.
While waiting for the new spa to open in 2018 and its 18-metre pool, a temporary facility has been erected on the fourth floor in which PierreYves Rochon and Jeff Leatham have created a gym, hairdresser and four treatment rooms.
Top-end suites have been given contemporary touches while retaining their classical aura; we had a peek in a 250sqm Royal Suite, one of two, which features a 60sqm terrace.
