Spring launch for Mon­drian Doha

THE FIRST MON­DRIAN HO­TEL in the Mid­dle East, Mon­drian Doha, is tar­get­ing a se­cond quar­ter open­ing. Guests can expect the “Sun­set Strip vibe” of the orig­i­nal Hol­ly­wood Mon­drian at the 270room ho­tel, which has been de­signed by Dutch de­signer Mar­cel Wan­ders.

Eye-catch­ing fea­tures in­clude the fourlevel spi­ral stair­case, glass dome sky­light on the 27th floor and abun­dant cul­tural tie-ins from paint­ings and por­traits to fal­con head­pieces and or­na­ments. Rooms cover stan­dard, one- and two-bed suites, and Stu­dio and Pent­house suites, and all rooms fea­ture be­spoke minia­ture art­works, lux­u­ri­ous cus­tom-made fur­ni­ture and Swarovski crystal chan­de­liers.

F&B in­cludes Mo­ri­moto Doha, the first epony­mous Mo­ri­moto out­post to open in the Mid­dle East, another CUT by Wolf­gang Puck restau­rant, Mag­no­lia Bak­ery, an au­then­tic Qatari restau­rant, a burger venue, cigar lounge, shisha ter­race, night­club and sky­bar.

A 2,000sqm spa is be­lieved to be the largest ESPA spa with 11 treat­ment rooms, and the MICE of­fer­ing spans the same area with a multi-pur­pose ball­room that can hold 1,500 guests. Other fa­cil­i­ties in­clude an in­door pool and flower and re­tail store.
