World of Hyatt launches

-

HYATT GOLD PASSPORT has been replaced by World of Hyatt, which officially launches worldwide on March 1. In a bid to drive closer engagement with guests, the new loyalty programme features three elite tiers – Discoverist (10 qualifying nights/25,000 base points), Explorist (30 nights/50,000 points) and Globalist (60 nights/100,000 points). Members earn five base points for every eligible dollar spent, and base Points count toward tier status, including those earned for dining and spa experiences. Free night awards can be redeemed on stays of one night or more in five of Hyatt’s 12 brands and confirmed suite upgrades at the time of booking are available for qualifying elite members. A Hyatt spokesperson says Gold passport points are automatically inducted into the World of Hyatt. A promotional video says it will strive to understand “people, places and experiences”.
