Sirius adds value for global members

-

JUMEIRAH SIRIUS IS bolstering its global appeal by allowing members to exchange points for items such as accessories, jewellery, fashions and electronics.

Vicky Elliot, Global Director for Brand Loyalty at Jumeirah Group, said the tie-up with e-commerce firm Loylogic will give international members, who may not visit Jumeirah hotels regularly, more chance to redeem points. Loylogic has contracts with more than 1,200 brands“and we can choose which ones are relevant for our members,”she said.

The group launched My City Points last December, providing points on Visa card spends at a range of UAE boutiques and Abu Dhabi Golf Club. Silver is set at 10,000 tier points and Gold at 40,000 points.

Luxury groups are embracing more loyalty partnerships to expand reach amid ongoing hotel consolidation involving major brands. Taj Hotels and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced a partnership in December. • Madinat Jumeirah has introduced a new online booking tool for MICE planners, click on http://jumeirah.virtualplanner.com/ MadinatJumeirah-v036/
