World’s largest TRYP by Wyndham opens in Dubai

-

TRYP BY WYNDHAM Dubai has opened in the Barsha Heights district, becoming the brand’s largest property globally with 650 rooms. On arrival, the DJ in the lobby sets a relaxed tone and walking beyond a seating area and bookshelves you enter the principal restaurant, Local, whose native menu includes Camel burgers. Venues opening shortly include L!QD (poolside tapas) and Barbary Deli + Cocktail Club.

In-room LCD TVs looked sleek with separate internet and streaming panels and artworks evolved around geographical themes (France, New York). Guests staying in premium TRYP VYP rooms on the upper four floors (24-27) can access the second floor executive lounge which offers roundthe-clock snacks, lounge chairs and cosey computer booths and a terrace.

Hotel Manager Joelle Moore said Barsha Heights is “perfect” for the four-star brand.“The staff are aware of where we can send our guests for unique excursions and come back to an area which is quite young, quite trendy, with good prices in a fun area.”

The towering property boasts another innovative first, claiming to be the first hotel regionally to feature a dedicated co-working space targeting visiting ‘digital nomads’ and resident creatives and entrepreneurs. Nest will accommodate 55 desks and host up to 170 standing for events, and there is a separate meeting room, Local Space.

While inventory is being phased in, guests can enjoy attractive introductory rates (AED199 including breakfast) valid until the end of September.
