Dubai- based digital marketing agency hug digital has announced four account wins: HGTV Spartan Race Arabia, Stokke and DPI.

Home & Garden net work (GHTV) is due to launch i n the MENA region this year, and the channel has appointed hug to run its website and social media presence.

The American cable television channel is owned by Scripps Networks Interactive. Since its launch in 1994, it has created home improvement, DIY, design, real estate and landscaping content, such as House Hunters, Fixer Uppers, and Flip or Flop.

For Spartan Race Arabia, hug will handle content creation and community management across social media, as well as digital.

“The Spartan Race has rapidly grown in popularity in the MENA region and we are honored to be tapped by the hugely popular obstacle-race-turned-lifestyle brand as their strategic digital communicat ions partner to enhance and maximise its digital reach and engagement with existing and potential Spartans,” said Hussein M. Dajani, chief operating officer of hug digital.

“The Spartan Race is exactly the kind of brand we seek to team up with here at hug digital. It’s an ambitious brand that actively embraces the rapid pace of change to affect good, and it’s the type of challenge that fuels us.”

Stokke makes and markets children’s furniture and equipment such as highchairs, strollers, baby carriers, home textiles and nursery market products.

Stokke is a brand that carries a long tradition of designing smart, sustainable products that promote bonding and healthy development for a whole new generation of children and their families. hug digital will develop online and off line digital offerings to widen Stokke’s reach and digital presence.

Hug said members of its team are about to have babies or are parents already, and are avid participants in Stokke’s approach to coming up with great ideas and innovations for their own children.

Dajani said: “Stokke has played a part in many of huggers’ lives long before this partnership came to be, making Stokke much more than just a client to them. The passion and excitement expressed when hearing the news was inspirational.”

Digital Point Institute ( DPI) is a UAE-headquartered training and consultancy firm founded in 2015.
