Grey wins Pop­pins cre­ative ac­count

Grey has won the cre­ative brief for Da­her In­ter­na­tional Food Com­pany (Difco), the Le­banese ce­real man­u­fac­turer be­hind the Pop­pins brand.

Grey Group MENA’s Beirut of­fice will run Difco’s brand man­age­ment and its cre­ative, dig­i­tal and so­cial cam­paigns in Le­banon and across the wider Mid­dle East.

Difco pro­duces and mar­kets prod­ucts in­clud­ing Pop­pins break­fast ce­re­als. The brand is avail­able in 22,000 points of sale in Le­banon and is ex­ported to about 30 coun­tries across the re­gion and Europe.

An­nounc­ing the win, Karim Nader, the man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of Grey Beirut, said: “We at Grey Beirut are ex­cited to work to­gether with Difco on man­ag­ing the prom­i­nent man­u­fac­turer’s busi­ness port­fo­lio and de­velop win­ning cre­ative and com­mu­ni­ca­tion strate­gies for its var­i­ous prod­ucts and brands.

“The Grey Beirut team will be util­is­ing their vast range of re­sources, tal­ents and ex­per­tise to take Difco’s brand man­age­ment, cre­ative and dig­i­tal cam­paigns to the next level, help­ing the com­pany bet­ter con­nect with its cus­tomers and part­ners in Le­banon and the re­gion.”

Other brands Grey han­dles in the re­gion in­clude Panadol, Sen­so­dyne, Emi­rates, Du­ra­cell and Gilette.

In June its Riyadh of­fice won fash­ion re­tailer SAAF.com’s Saudi Ara­bian dig­i­tal re­mit.
