C2 wins Holidayme travel startup brief

-

Dubai-based ad agency Tamra C2 and its strategic partner California Chrome has won the account for travel startup Holidayme.

The UAE-based e-commerce travel portal announced Series B funding in March, raising its total capital to $23m. It has also begun to expand across the MENA region, starting with Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC.

Samer Qaqish, group accounts director of C2, said: “We’re quite excited with this opportunity as e-commerce is a fast-growing playing field with a predicted huge impact on the communications industry. Being a part of a start-up brand’s growth into regional markets is a valuable position to be in and it is in our ethos to behave as brand partners more than agencies and be very much invested in their future vision.”

C2 recently retained business for Western Union, Maserati and the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.

Meanwhile, the agency’s digital business, C2 Native, has signed partnerships with two companies. It has partnered with “deal facilitators” Naseba, and says “the objective of the partnership is to build a dynamic strategy to leverage Naseba’s investments in technology. With the expert guidance of C2 Native, the project will utilise advanced systems such as Eloqua, SRM and a number of other technologies to create an orchestrated approach towards their marketing and communication strategy.” It has also partnered with Lister Digital, an Oracle Marketing Cloud partner.
