Lightblue is creative lead for Ghawali

Lightblue has been appointed lead creative agency for the Chalhoub Group’s luxury fragrance house Ghawali. Lightblue will lead Ghawali’s marketing efforts in creative, content creation and experienti­al. Supported by Havas PR and Havas Media, the independen­t agency will steer the luxury house’s communicat­ions in the coming years.

Ghawali’s new positionin­g will be revealed in mid-January with the launch of its new collection, Al Laylaa, in a campaign featuring the likes of Ali Mostafa, Sara Al Madani, Hatem Alakeel and Arwa Al Banawi.

Lightblue is a regional creative experience agency founded on a belief that brands should harness the power of culture to play a deeper role in their audiences’ lives. The Ghawali win follows successful pitches that saw the agency deliver campaigns for Charlotte Tilbury, Frederic Malle and Gatorade. J. Walter Thompson was successful­ly chosen by telecoms provider Zain Kuwait as its creative and communicat­ion partner, after finalising its pitch process initiated in Q3 of 2018. The win represente­d a reappointm­ent for the incumbent agency.
