Activating The Water Star
In feng shui, prosperous energy is meant to be enhanced with a moving object or live energy. Movement depicts growth and leads to new opportunities. In flying star school of feng shui, the current and future prosperity stars such as water star 8, 9 and 1 are considered to be very important. There are many objects that can help you in activating a water star or the prosperous energy.
The most commonly used and often recommended cure is an aquarium. Many restaurants and hotels in Asia prefer this option as aquarium is full of life and creates wonderful energy. Fish is considered to be lucky in Chinese culture and by having live fish in the aquarium, many believe that it will enhance the business and bring about growth. Gold fish are preferred over other fish, as the colour depicts wealth. Dragon fish is also very auspicious and many businesses display one large dragon fish in the aquarium. However the downside of having an aquarium is to keep it clean at all times and sometimes it is an expensive affair.
For those who don’t want an aquarium, a water fountain is suggested. It has moving water and is also considered auspicious. However the size of a water fountain is very important. A small fountain for a large home or office will have no effect. Therefore choose appropriate size in relation to the size of the property.
If you have pets at home and a water fountain is not what you want, then a pendulum clock is recommended. With the movement of pendulum, the energy also moves and it can be used for enhancing the water star effectively.
When suggesting cures for an office or a commercial establishment, I always recommend photocopy machine or printer to be in the water star location. These are used extensively in an office and also create a lot of movement of energy. In one particular office, most employees drank a lot of coffee and so a coffee machine was placed to activate the water star.
Alternatively a television, music system or rotating lights can also be used. As long as the item you are placing is moving or is being used often, then it will create that kind of energy, which in turn will activate the water star.
