We not only love Kareena Kapoor Khan as an actor but she is constantly giving us gym goals, baby goals, holiday goals etc. The Jab We Met firecracker is all set to start her all-girl gang film Veere Di Wedding with Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaskar. The movie was announced last year but she got pregnant and the movie got postponed. It will soon mount the sets and Kareena has made it clear that her actor husband Saif Ali Khan will take care of the baby while she is working, “Saif will come in while I am shooting. The father has to take some responsibility. That is where Ki and Ka come in.” Well done, Saif and Kareena. Continue giving us #couple goals
2 WHEN ANUSHKA AND VIRAT BECAME A MEME
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are holidaying in the US. Apart from hanging out at the popular spots of New York, they were spotted at a grocery store. The social media is not surprised that they are shopping in a grocery store but the fact they are seen exchanging angry looks in this picture. The Internet reacted in a hilarious way and took jibes at Indian cricketers Ravi Shastri and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The duo officially announced their vacation on social media with Virat sharing a selfie and even calling Anushka his ‘heart’.
3 YOU CANNOT BULLY PRIYANKA
While most Bollywood stars and their plus ones and entourage were busy enjoying New York for the IIFA Awards, India’s very own New York girl Priyanka Chopra took a flight back home to Mumbai for a quick vacation. Apparently, the organisers wanted to sign her as a co-host but the global diva demanded her fee. The negotiation went on and on for a long time. Finally, the Quantico girl asked her team to focus on other projects. Priyanka calls New York her home now and it would have been awesome to see her as part of the celebration. But we think, our girl is right. Give the girl what she truly deserves. Priyanka has currently signed two Hollywood movies and is in the process of signing a Hindi film. She is also working on her American TV series Quantico.
4 WHY ‘HAHAHA’, SUSHANT?
Sushant Singh Rajput was present at New York for the IIFA awards. But the actor left many confused when he tweeted, ‘Hahaha’ tagging the social media handle of the IIFA awards. Many argued that the tweet was put up right after Shahid Kapoor walked away with the Best Actor trophy for Udta Punjab. No wonder, the Twitterati started linking it to his failure to grab the best trophy awards (he was nominated for Dhoni). We are pretty sure that Sushant did not mean the tweet in a bad way. Also, Indian Express reported that Sushant’s tweet had nothing to do with the awards. It was simply an expression of having a successful graduation from a background dancer, to now being an actor performing at the very same award function.
