Kevin Hart admits to cheating ... aplogises to wife and children
GETTING HARD ACTOR Kevin Hart has issued a public apology to his pregnant wife Eniko Parrish and kids after admitting to getting involved with a woman that led to an attempted blackmail.
According to TMZ, a woman has allegedly demanded money from the comedian over a video.
Without directly addressing the alleged footage, he said he had put himself in an “environment where only bad things can happen – and they did”, reports mirror.co.uk.
Appearing on the verge of tears, he shared: “I am at a place in my life where I feel like I have a target on my back and because of that I should make smart decisions and recently I didn’t.
“I’m not perfect and I’m not going to sit here and say that I am or claim to be in any way, shape or form and I made a bad error in judgement.”
He admitted there’s no excuse for his behaviour. “I know I’m going to hurt the people closest to me who I have talked to and apologised to – being my wife and my kids. It’s a s ***** moment when you know you’re wrong and there’s no excuses for your wrong behaviour. At the end of the day, man, I’ve simply got to do better.”
The comedian, who wed Parrish last year, admitted to cheating on his pregnant wife in an Instagram post, explaining that someone had targeted him for “financial gain”. He wrote alongside the video: “Sending so many apologies to my wife and kids. I got to do better and I will. I’m not perfect and have never claimed to be... I love you all.”
