Mind Body Connection

-

Every time your body breaks down have you wondered why it is happening? Constant headaches, itching skin or recurring back problems; we all have had our share of issues. So why is it that in spite of seeking medical advice and treatment, some problems keep coming back? What causes your body to react to illnesses?

The answer lies deep within you. Before a medical problem manifests in your body, it appears in your energy body. Accumulated stress, negative emotions, long exposure to abuse, toxic relationships, childhood trauma and many such life-altering events remain in your subconscious mind for years. Some of you are able to deal with them while some struggle to cope their entire life. These experiences leave a deep imprint on your lives mentally and within your energy. Over the years these negative emotions start affecting your physical body and before you know it, you are falling sick. It is scientifically proven now that your emotions and state of mind affect your physical body and wellbeing. Positive and emotionally stable people are less likely to fall sick, than mentally disturbed people.

The key to dealing with physical pain and illness is to reassess your life’s journey. Ask yourself some hard-hitting questions. Am I emotionally stable? Have my past toxic relationships affected me deeply? Is my anger creating physical discomfort in my life? Is my grief of losing a loved one making me sick?

Once you know the answers to these questions, you will know why is it that you are falling sick so often. Stress is the number one cause of ill health globally. People with long-term exposure to stress develop serious medical conditions such as heart disorders, skin allergies, constant migraines, insomnia or asthma attacks. Past traumas also impact your body in a negative way. Different people react differently to events and their emotions manifest into different illnesses.

However, it is always advisable to seek a medical opinion first before dabbling in an alternative way of dealing with physical issues. The key is to be aware with regards to your life. Understand that some events are beyond your control. But what you can control is your state of mind, which holds the key to a healthy life.
