Behind the scenes of Prabhu’s iconic songs

-

Urvasi Urvasi

Prabhu: The shooting of Urvasi happened on real roads. We were shooting in the bus and were dancing in the moving bus. It was a bit dangerous and thankfully, no one was hurt during the shooting. Police would often come and halt our shooting. Of course, we had all the permissions. It was a fun experience. That song was so good and we knew it would be popular but we had no idea that it would become a cult song. I was choreographing the song apart from performing in it.

Muqabala Muqabala

Prabhu: Muqabala shooting happened in Chennai. I had a ligament tear in my left leg. So I would tie my left leg with scrap bandage and dance. I would dance by giving full weight to my right leg. We had no idea that this song would become so massively popular.

Kay Sera Sera

Prabhu: Kay Sera happened in Hyderabad. It was really hot. I had done a song for Madhuri earlier. But I was dancing with her for the first time. She loves dancing and she would rehearse a lot. Whenever we would give her tough steps, she would repeatedly ask for rehearsals and I think that is why she is such a legend.
