Who is Hailey Baldwin?

Although she was already famous, by now she’s a household name. As many of you know, last week, Justine Bieber proposed to his on-again off-again girlfriend, model and TV personality Hailey Baldwin. Despite coming from an incredibly famous family and having been working in front of the camera as a model, having super famous friends and accumulating more than 14 million followers on Instagram – what do we actually know about the soon-to-be-bride? Not much! Well, if you’re as curious as we are, than fear not – here’s what we discovered about the world’s latest IT girl.

Family Dynasty

Hailey Baldwin comes from one of the most famous acting families in the world. Her father is Stephen Baldwin, known for his roles in The

Usual Suspects and Born on the Fourth of July. Her famous actor uncles include Daniel Baldwin, William Baldwin and yes, the Alec Baldwin. Her cousin is model Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Alec Baldwin and his ex-wife Kim Basinger. Yikes, that’s a lot to live up to!

Home School

Given her family’s fame, Hailey didn’t have the typical school experience. Instead, she was home schooled and focused on ballet a lot. Hailey believes that not going to school is what made her who she is today. “I actually think that helped me become very mature for my age,” she says. “I didn’t turn out socially awkward, but I just missed out on the partying and all the boys and drama. It helped me skip past being childish.” Hailey was also a ballerina and considers dancing as her preferred method of working out. She misses it terribly and says she cries every time she sees a ballet.

Working Girl

Hailey started modeling in 2014 making her debut on the runway at a Top Shop show. Since then she’s worked with a number of high end bands including being the It girl for Guess, a brand that has launched the career of many supermodels and actresses. Hailey is also a natural at being herself in front of the camera. She co-hosted James Corden’s late-night reality show Drop The Mic with rapper Method Man as well as the iHeart Radio Music Awards alongside DJ Khaled!

Tiny Tattoos

Just like her fiancé Hailey has a love for tattoos – except she loves them to be super small! Hailey has her sister’s middle name, her parents’ wedding date, a heart on her ankle, the word “pray” on her hands, and the word “seek” on her neck. She and one of her BFFs Kendall Jenner, got a pair of red and white broken heart tattoos on the inside of their fingers, and Hailey posted an image of the matching ink on Snapchat. In fact, we think Hailey managed to nail having lots of tattoos in a stylish and elegant way.

Fame Not Fun

Hailey might have been born into a famous family and now is pretty famous herself but the truth is she’s not that interested in fame. “The things that are more important are my family,” she says. “I’m lucky that I have my family, I’m lucky that my parents are still together. Those are the things that I cherish. Fame is not all that it’s cracked up to be. It’s a lot for someone my age to have to deal with.” Fair enough but we are pretty sure that she got more than she bargained for by getting engaged to Justin Bieber… well good luck to both of them!
