Was salman in Dubai?
A recent video that’s been doing the rounds on social media shows Salman Khan clad in his signature jeans, t-shirt and cap strolling in what looks like a Dubai mall alongside bodyguards. The actor can be seen at one point leaving the crowd to sit on a bench and scrolling through his mobile while most people around seem oblivious to the presence of the superstar in their midst. Most probably post the conclusion of his star-studded Dabangg: Reloaded tour, the actor was heading home to chill before starting the shoot of Bharat opposite Priyanka Chopra.
aishWarya WoWs again
She’s not been exactly known for her acting chops in the movies she has done so far. So naturally, when
Fanney Khan starring Aishwarya Rai alongside the extremely talented Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao first came out with its trailer and a couple of songs starring Rai, we were a bit taken aback. Not only does Aishwarya look ravishing, she comes across as totally uninhibited and a breath of fresh air in the movie.
Halke Halke alongside Rao shows a side to the actress we haven’t seen before. Now lets just hope this is not the usual trailer magic and we see a new avatar of the actress on the big screen when the movie finally releases. Could it be that the company she is keeping on screen right now has inspired her to up her game? We surely hope so...
katrina kaif reloaDeD
Katrina Kaif has a lot to celebrate this birthday. Post the Dabangg Tour Reloaded, which saw her performing alongside her mentor Salman Khan, she is on a break to celebrate her big day with her family (she turned 35 yesterday, for those not in the know). Post which she returns to the shoot of
Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. She’s also got Thugs of Hindostan opposite Aamir Khan to look forward to. And if starring alongside the three big Khans of the industry backto-back isn’t enough there is the dance movie with Varun Dhawan in the pipeline as well. Looks like the split from Ranbir Kapoor, who has moved on from their relationship, has done wonders for her career.
DhaDak support
Everybody is fervently looking forward to the release of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar’s
Dhadak this weekend. While both the youngsters have been attracting a lot of positive vibes post the release of the trailer, the fact that it is an official remake of the critically acclaimed Marathi film Sairat no doubt puts a lot of pressure on the two starlets. For Janhvi in particular it is a bittersweet moment as well considering her mom Sridevi is not around for the big day. But the family seems to have rallied behind the young actress with cousin Sonam’s latest tweet: “What a stunning debut @janhvikapoor so so proud! Moved beyond words. @ishaankhattar you are magnificent. And this is all thanks to @ShashankKhaitan who has brilliantly captured their innocence, vulnerability and strength! Stunned !!!!!! ” adding to the whole anticipation. We wish the young guns all the very best.
