The way the city is built, and the formation of its natural landscape very much impacts its feng shui. Having tall mountain ranges or natural bodies of water are considered to be beneficial for the city. However, many new townships around the world are turning to feng shui to create a perfect environment for the new areas being developed and built. More and more builders are using this ancient Chinese science of energy management to enhance the living experience with positive and vibrant energy. Having worked on many such projects, following are some general tips on how to create a feng shui friendly township.

When designing a township or a dedicated area of the city through feng shui, it is recommended to have a boundary in mind. What is the size of the township? Is there a wall around it? It is always ideal to define the area first so that the energy flow can be managed accordingly within that space.

Design open and big roads. It is easier to manage energy flow if the roads are wide and well designed. This helps in moving the energy from one corner of the township to another.

Have designated areas for specific activities. Flying star school of feng shui can be used to allocate areas for different functions based on the detailed calculations of the township. For example, current prosperity stars or energy can have commercial areas such as malls and hotels for boosting business. This will help in increased footfall and also generate cash flow for the businesses. Water bodies can also be designed to harness the energy in this space.

This energy is conducive for good health and relationships. Allocating residential areas based on this will not only benefit the residents but also boost sales of apartments and houses.

Educational institutions can also be placed in good mountain stars to boost focus among students.

Hospitals and place of worship are always built away from the residential areas. These attract and absorb a lot of energy towards them and are best kept away from densely populated areas.

No matter where you live, it is always possible to implement feng shui to enhance your life and balance your environment.
