1 AWKWARD MEET FOR FORMER BFFS
Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt are in an awkward position right now. Alia is dating Ranbir Kapoor who happens to be Katrina’s exboyfriend. The uncomfortable part is that Alia and Katrina used to be best friends before Alia started dating Katrina’s former flame. The former BFF’S don’t gym together anymore and don’t even ‘like’ each others’ pictures on Instagram. In fact, we hear things didn’t look so cool when they came face to face at Shah Rukh Khan’s Diwali bash. As per reports, they exchanged pleasantries and stuck to their individual set of friends. But our industry source adds that the vibes were icy cold, even though they came together for a picture.
2 ISHAAN IS TAKING IT EASY
Ishaan Khatter made a very proud debut with Iranian film director Majid Majidi’s Indian film Beyond the Cloud early this year. He followed it up with the successful
Dhadak. Though his co-star Janhvi Kapoor has already signed her next big film Takht which is Karan Johar’s directorial piece, Shahid Kapoor’s talented younger brother is yet to sign his next film. But Ishaan is taking it easy. You can often see him going on dinner and movie dates with Janhvi (they are dating). Ishaan was a regular at the recently concluded Mumbai International Film Festival. In fact, he sat like a fanboy during an event at the festival where the famous Hollywood director Darren Aronofksy spoke about his career. There is a huge buzz that Ishaan has auditioned for another Hollywood favourite Mira Nair’s upcoming film. Wish you all the best, Ishaan. 3 AKSHAY SURROUNDED BY FAB WOMEN
Akshay Kumar, who is leading the pack in doing patriotic movies for the last few years, will soon be seen in a film starring some fabulous female lead actors. In the upcoming film produced by R Balki, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and Tamil star Nithya Menen will be seen as scientists who are part of an all-women crew mission to Mars. Bollywood trade magazine Super Cinema reports that Jagan Shakti will make his debut as a director in this film. We cannot wait to see this movie.
4 MALAIKA IS LIVING HER BEST LIFE
Malaika Arora Khan is not afraid to live her life to the fullest. Though she turned 45 years old recently, she perhaps owns the most fit body in the industry. Even her personal life is on an all-time high. She celebrated her birthday in Italy with rumoured boyfriend Arjun. At a recent Diwali party hosted by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla Diwali, Arjun came in early and waited until Malaika showed up. In fact, during the shoot of her TV show India’s Got Talent, when Karan teased her about her ‘birthday holiday’ with Arjun, she smiled and said, “It was trippy and blissful.” But when KJO asked if she went alone, she replied, “Let it be a burning question!”
