Even more Frenchness on the horizon as La Galerie at Alliance Française Dubai is launching an exhibition of new works from French artist and Abu Dhabi resident, Laurent Koller, today. Koller is a painter who mainly works in black and white, in acrylic and ink, on canvas and paper. Entry is free.

On our cover today are the dashing Farhan Akhtar and the lovely Priyanka Chopra, costars in the highly anticipated film The Sky Is Pink. Both actors were at the Toronto International Film Festival to promote the film, their first together after Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. Always style savvy, Priyanka looked stunning in a silk organza dress with cascading ruffle by Marchesa. Posting a picture of Priyanka, director Shonali Bose and Farhan from TIFF as his Instagram story, Priyanka’s husband Nick Jonas wrote, “Congrats @priyankachopra and the entire The Sky Is Pink team on your tiff premiere!! This movie is so powerful.” Priyanka replied saying, “Thank you baby @ nickjonas.” #Couplegoals anyone? Turn to page 8 for the low-down on the Toronto premiere of The Sky Is Pink. We can’t wait for the film, which judging by its moving trailer is sure to have a huge impact!
