Cinched in

The belt is back in a big way. Since women were cinched in by the constraints of patriarchal fashion, circa 1893, we’ve come a long way. Now, we’re exercising our political right to choose whether we want to be cinched in or not. Taking a belt and adding it over a trench coat is this season’s modern update. The fash crowd chose a unique knot for the belt while some even went rogue and threw a different belt around the jacket all together – these cool kids are so unruly. It’s restored our faith in the belt once more.
