A FEAST FOR THE EYES

Great food meets fine art at Okku, where Dubai-based Canadian visual artist Nik Nejad brings a feast of Japanese artwork to your dinner table. His series of light boxes, titled Enter, remix traditional Geisha girl and pagoda imagery with pop-art-style neon washes and cutting-edge effects for an exhibition that’s as effortlessly trendy as the restaurant displaying it. Inspired by the artist’s travels across Japan, the strangely beautiful collection is as psychedelic and weirdly wonderful as the country itself and makes for an inspiring evening out.
