Time to make some changes

I loved the argument that Arianna Huffington presented in the article ‘Leading the superpreneurs’ (June 21) when she said that women in the corporate world are competing on men’s terms – working as hard as possible and then facing burnout.

I can truly relate to her as I have been in a high-pressure job for more than a decade and have recently begun to feel that my work-life balance has gone haywire. In my journey to the top of the corporate ladder, I now feel I have lost out on all those things that truly matter – a strong bond with my family; my love for poetry writing and most importantly, I have not focused on my emotional and physical health, which has now begun to take its toll.

After reading this article, I am going to be making a lot of changes.
