1kg good-qual­ity dark dried dates, pit­ted and chopped

50g but­ter

2 cups Rice Krispies ce­real co­conut flakes

Method:

1. In a large pan, cook dates and but­ter over medium-low heat un­til dates melt into a paste-like con­sis­tency. Re­move from heat.

2. While date mix­ture is still hot, add Rice Krispies. Mix well and let cool.

3. When mix­ture is cool enough to han­dle, make lime-size balls and roll in co­conut flakes.
