Domestic Diva delights!

The first time I met celebrity chef Silvena Rowe she was behind a huge cake that she had baked me by way of introduction. The cake didn’t last long but our friendship has endured. We don’t have much in common. True, we are both tall blondes with more than our share of personality (and a pinch of feistiness), but while she can cook like a dream and has culinary talents galore, I struggle to make toast.

While Silvena whipped up gorgeous desserts and made delicious delicacies on British TV, I could only watch in awe, my mouth watering. She has cooked for royalty, pop stars and Hollywood’s finest, and I have been lucky enough to eat in her kitchen and London restaurant. Now, I am thrilled that the Domestic Diva (I told you she was feisty!) has moved to Dubai, where she is opening a myriad restaurants, and is Friday’s very own culinary columnist.
