Why being mom is just magical.
1 In-house stylists: I don’t have to go anywhere in search of sartorial advice. My kids know exactly what suits me.
2 My own Google: Who is the new man in Taylor Swift’s life? Are Justin and Selena still an item? I don’t have to search for info any more. My kids keep me updated.
3 The IT guys: From iPads to BlackBerrys, they somehow know it all, so I don’t have to pore over thick instruction manuals.
4 Stress busters: People have stress balls, I have kids. I just hug them tight and all my worries simply get wiped away.
5 Gossip gatherers: My kids’ social networking prowess means I know what the moms in the vicinity are up to without having to attend any of those coffee mornings.
6 Imagination stimulators: I can allow my imagination to run wild when I tell my children bedtime stories. It’s called a fairy tale, not “But mama you lied”.
7 Ready assistants: From baking to painting my nails or giving me a head massage, they love to help out as it makes them feel grown-up.
8 Entertainers alright: Sparkling eyes filled with mischief, quirky sense of humour and their open laughter – I never get bored being around my children.
9 Friends forever: College mates and colleagues might move on but my kids are friends I know will always be close by.
10 Purpose providers: Once a mom, always a mom. One job I will never be fired from.
