Arty feelings
If you fancy a dose of culture this weekend head to The One & Only Royal Mirage, where, until September 18, there’s an exhibition from internationally acclaimed artist Hesham Malik, whose celebrated The Walk is said to have been purchased recently for a whopping $1.3 million (Dh5.88 million) at a private auction. While he’s often described as an abstractionist, Malik prefers to think he “expresses human emotions such as love, pride, greed and ecstasy on a canvas”.
