Mac and cheese (serves 1)

In­gre­di­ents 40g mac­a­roni 2 beef ba­con rash­ers, chopped 50ml cook­ing cream 1/4 tsp salt 1 tbsp grated Parme­san cheese 2 tbsp grated ma­ture Ched­dar cheese Method 1. Boil pasta in salted wa­ter un­til al dente. Strain and leave to cool. 2. In a fry­ing pan sauté beef ba­con. Add pasta, cook­ing cream and salt and cook gen­tly un­til pasta is soft. 3. Add half Parme­san and all Ched­dar. Stir gen­tly un­til cheeses have melted and mixed into pasta. 4. Re­move pasta from pan and gar­nish with re­main­ing Parme­san. Leave to cool then pack in lunch box.
