Fishcakes with fries

Cooking time: 30 mins Ingredient­s 750g cooked white fish, flaked, all bones removed 1 cup white breadcrumb­s 1 potato, peeled boiled and mashed 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup grated cheese chopped parsley, as required oil, for shallow frying French fries, to serve Method 1. Mix together fish, breadcrumb­s, potato, egg, cheese, parsley and season. Set aside for 20 minutes. 2. Using a fish-shaped cookie cutter, shape mixture into fishcakes. 3. Heat oil in frying pan and shallow-fry fishcakes until golden brown on both sides. 4. Serve warm with French fries.
