Fish­cakes with fries

Cook­ing time: 30 mins In­gre­di­ents 750g cooked white fish, flaked, all bones re­moved 1 cup white bread­crumbs 1 potato, peeled boiled and mashed 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup grated cheese chopped pars­ley, as re­quired oil, for shal­low fry­ing French fries, to serve Method 1. Mix to­gether fish, bread­crumbs, potato, egg, cheese, pars­ley and sea­son. Set aside for 20 min­utes. 2. Us­ing a fish-shaped cookie cut­ter, shape mix­ture into fish­cakes. 3. Heat oil in fry­ing pan and shal­low-fry fish­cakes un­til golden brown on both sides. 4. Serve warm with French fries.
