Pretty in pink

Be a blushing beauty in the hottest autumn colour

-

October is a month when we’re always thinking pink – it is Breast Cancer Awareness month, after all. But aside from pinning a pink ribbon to our lapels, this season there’s never been more reason to live La Vie en Rose.

Pink was all over the Autumn/Winter catwalks in every fashion capital, from Carven and Celine in Paris, to Dior and Valentino in Milan, with designers working every shade of blush into their new collections.

But forget about any potential Barbie-world wardrobe worries – whether you’re wearing the shade from top to toe, or using it as an accent to classics like black, white, camel or grey, pink is a decidedly grown-up sartorial choice this season. Better still, it’s a must-try for your make-up bag too. Covering virtually every trend on the runways this season, from soft and romantic pastels to Sixties-inspired sugary pouts, and futuristic flashes of colour to glam-rock inspired glitters, pink is the ultimate works-for-any-trend palette – and there’s a shade that looks great on every skin tone. What’s not to love?

It’s time to join the pink lady parade!
