The right time is next month
The article ‘Why you need to give January a break’ (January 3) struck a chord with me.
I’ve always believed that the first month of the year is not the time to set resolutions and expect that they will hold throughout the year. The reason is that there’s just so much happening in January and resolutions are sure to fall off the radar.
Instead, February is a time when you would be done with partying and can have time to take stock of your situation and consider making some lifestyle changes.

I liked the feature ‘Why you need to give January a break’. It made a lot of sense. And guess what? I’ve put all my resolutions on hold until February. Thanks Friday for inspiring me – hopefully by following your advice I will be able to stick to my resolutions.
