How is 2014 shap­ing up?

It’s a busy year – af­ter Dubai I’m off to the first Cake, Bake & Sweets Show that takes place in Syd­ney, Aus­tralia. Then back to the UK for the Cake & Bake Show in Manch­ester.

In be­tween I’m work­ing on ideas for a new book and a TV se­ries. I’m also re­ally pleased to be work­ing with P&O Cruises. I’m be­ing billed as a ‘food hero’, along­side chefs Marco Pierre White and Atul Kochhar, which is a huge com­pli­ment.

The new P&O cruise liner, Bri­tan­nia, sets sail next year and will in­clude a fan­tas­tic food em­po­rium, the Mar­ket Café, which will fea­ture the Eric Lan­lard patis­serie range. It’s al­most go­ing back to my roots, as I started my ca­reer as a patissier on board the Jeanne D’Arc, French Navy Ship at the age of 18!
