Cate Blanchett is a fan, and so is Kate Bosworth, so when the new SKII LXP range arrived for me to test I was excited. And I should have been! Yes, the range is expensive, but the results are dramatic – and fast. The essence, serum and cream all contain Pitera, a yeast peptide, and Rose Absolute to hydrate, firm and smooth skin. It smells gorgeous and feels great, but most importantly, it works. Every time I go out after applying the range I’m asked if I’ve just had a facial. Dh1,185, Paris Gallery.

Woody, spicy and zesty – Hugo Boss Bottled Intense is the perfect aftershave for spring. A gorgeous blend of apple, green orange blossom, clove, geranium and cinnamon, it is a modern oriental scent that is elegantly masculine. I heart. Dh270 (50ml), Sephora.

I love manicures and making sure I always wear polish means I’ve finally been able to grow my nails. But that can mean white spots on them too because they can’t breathe under the polish – until now.
