Being the editor of Friday has to be one of the best jobs in the world – especially when I get to meet you, the readers. That is what I have been doing for the past few months as I went undercover on a secret mission: to make Friday even better.
So, along with our art editor Mark Setchfield, I have travelled all over the UAE to meet some of you to help me deconstruct your favourite magazine and put it back together with a modern twist.
We met doctors, housewives, business people and mothers, and you all said one thing – give us more stories that make us think, make us laugh and make us cry. You told us you love our in-depth reports, inspiring stories of humble people who really make a difference in the lives of others and our real-life tales of triumph over tragedy.

Of course, all your favourites are still here but wrapped up in a new, gorgeous design. We’ve also created a new logo for the front cover to make us stand out even more.
