STARGAZING

Your stars for the week ahead.

- Shelley von Strunckel, one of the world’s top astrologers, writes a weekly forecast for Friday

ARIES MAR 20 – APR 18

If you know what you want, you’ll rarely put off decisions. But with so much unsettled, changes have undermined your efforts to make exciting arrangements. Commit to plans within the next few days as after that opportunities are likely to change. It’s a matter of now or never.

TAURUS APR 19 – MAY 19

The ideas planet Mercury in Taurus ends its retrograde cycle on Sunday, and with it, this period of confusion ends. However, you’ll be unable to answer many questions it has triggered right away. Reflect on and explore options so that once you make decisions, you’ll be sure they’re wise.

GEMINI MAY 20 – JUN 19

Now that the Sun and, as of Tuesday, Venus, the planet of money and relationships, are in Gemini, life is likely to be more easy. Your ruler Mercury also ends its retrograde cycle on Sunday, although the confusion it triggered could last a few more days. CANCER JUN 20 – JUL 21 It’s not that you mind making changes, but the matters involve your work or other obligations and could influence those closest personally or professionally. You’ve been uncertain about what’s best, but Saturday’s Full Moon brings feelings to a head, leading to discussions about what needs to be done. LEO JUL 22 – AUG 21 Having faced numerous twists and turns, at long last you’re nearing decisions. Consequently, you’ll be relieved that Mercury’s retrograde cycle ends on Sunday. Still, since the confusion won’t vanish overnight, make sure your decisions and plans are flexible. VIRGO AUG 22 – SEP 21 While a retrograde Mercury leads to confusion, in your case it’s spurred you to meet interesting people and explore new ideas and places. Once this cycle ends on Sunday, you’ll be able to turn what you’ve learnt into plans that are more lasting.

LIBRA SEP 22 – OCT 21

Although you’ve achieved a great deal over the past month or so, especially in financial matters, it hasn’t been fun. With the Sun and your ruler Venus departing this portion of your chart to accent new people, ideas and places, the focus shifts to broadening your horizons, which will be less troubling.

SCORPIO OCT 22 – NOV 20

In early March, the forthright Mars departed Scorpio and moved to accent practical and financial matters. You’ve achieved a lot but have more to deal with. Tackle them now before Mars returns to your sign next Friday, beginning an intense cycle of planning for the future.

SAGITTARIUS NOV 21 – DEC 20

As a fire sign you think and act swiftly, allowing little time for reflection or unsettling feelings. Saturday’s Sagittarius Full Moon not only accents them, but you’ll be talking them over with others. Don’t rush; talking could lead to life-changing insights. CAPRICORN DEC 21 – JAN 19 Those who plunge into arrangements without thought amaze you. Your plans are being rearranged, and annoying and, possibly worrying as they seem, they’re an invitation to consider new options – ones which, were you not forced to explore, you’d have rejected without a thought. AQUARIUS JAN 20 – FEB 18 This may be one of the most unsettling weeks of the year, but when you look back, you’ll know that what caused you greatest concern turned out to be breakthroughs. Explore everything, including ideas or offers you regard uninteresting. PISCES FEB 19 – MAR 19 It may be tempting to avoid talks about changes in your domestic or work life, but discuss what’s arisen. It’ll throw your carefully crafted plans into chaos but you’ve long sensed a rethink was in order. You’ll be amazed at how much you enjoy the process.
