Dana and his crew take several groups through the year, starting with the July cattle drive from July 1-8, departing and returning to Sheridan, Wyoming (which has flights from Denver International). The six-day/six-night trip covers 72km to 89km on horseback, trailing mother cows and their calves to their summer range. The 10-person crew has around 15 to 20 guests on the drive, sleeping in canvas-wall tents and tepee tents, and eating cowboy dishes cooked in cast-iron skillets, Dutch ovens or at a pit barbecue.
