Now here’s a ladies’ night with a dif­fer­ence – Cock­tail Kitchen JLT’s Don’t Take It Per­son­ally. In­stead of clink­ing glasses, you’ll break glass ceil­ings through a se­ries of fe­male lead­er­ship panel dis­cus­sions, where women can dis­cuss strength­en­ing ca­reers, re­la­tion­ships, and work-life bal­ance. Look­ing ahead, Imag­ine Sci­ence fes­ti­val is at NYU Abu Dhabi from March 2-4, celebrating sci­ence through film, vir­tual re­al­ity, and ex­hi­bi­tions. Honey, Rain and Dust (be­low) by Emi­rati film­maker Nu­joom Al Ganem will be screened, while Spec­trum ex­plores the con­cept of light through works of five artists, in­clud­ing a Fist­ful of Stars, a vir­tual re­al­ity fly-through by El­iza Mc­nitt.
