STARGAZING
Shelley von Strunckel, one of the world’s top astrologers, writes a weekly forecast for Friday
Your stars for the week ahead. 13
ARIES MARCH 20 – APRIL 18
While ordinarily you act swiftly on decisions, you’re sidestepping certain plans, possibly because of the commitment they’d require. Since your ruler Mars moved into Aries in late January, you’ve conducted a massive review. Now it’s time to put these insights into action. The necessary focus could mean adopting a tough, if temporary, regime. Still, the results will justify the discipline needed.
TAURUS APRIL 19 – MAY 19
Recently, either individuals or events themselves have made decisions for you. While some have taken you into intriguing yet unfamiliar territory, others seemed unfair, at least initially. Now, suddenly, it not only becomes clear how you’ll benefit in the long run, you’re given greater responsibility for both planning and decisions. Urgent as this seems, you have several weeks to gather facts.
GEMINI MAY 20 – JUNE 20
There’s a tremendous planetary focus on decisionmaking, then taking action. Yet neither circumstances nor your own priorities are clear. So organise plans as best you can, but ensure they’re flexible. That way, as the actual situations change and so, too, your ideas of what’s best, you can rethink those plans in depth. While this will require an extensive analysis, it will be worth the effort.
CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21
Exciting as the past weeks’ new ideas, offers and changes have been, it means you must reorganise various elements of your life – and big time. Yet you’re not sure what should come first. Actually, both your feelings and crucial facts will remain unclear until the Full Moon on the 12th. Until then, view whatever you do as tentative, if not an experiment, and you’ll learn from everything.
LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 21
By no means are you secretive. Yet you’ve avoided even mentioning certain potentially disruptive topics, mostly because you feared discussing them would upset others. They might. But these can’t be avoided. Get those who’re concerned involved. They’ll soon realise why these matters need to be talked over, and frankly. This will revolutionise their attitude. After that, the rest will be easy.
VIRGO AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 21
As much as you’ve enjoyed exploring, and learning from, unfamiliar people, places and ideas, certain decisions will soon become pressing. However, you’re short of facts and will be until the 12th, when your ruler Mercury’s challenge to practical Saturn puts you a position to obtain that information, then turn it into plans. Until then, wherever you go, ask questions.
LIBRA SEPTEMBER 22 – OCTOBER 22
Certain practical matters are as pressing as they are important, but you’re more concerned about unsettled issues involving others. While that’s understandable, the circumstances behind these are shifting and will be until mid-April’s Libra Full Moon. For now, focus on those dull practicalities. Bizarrely, what you learn will yield valuable insights when it’s time to tackle those joint issues.
SCORPIO OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21
You feel there’s little point in making even the simplest of decisions if you’re short of facts, yet some individuals insist plans are urgent. They’re not and, besides, the revelations indicated by powerful planetary activity involving your ruler Pluto in late March could change everything. For now, focus on discussion. That will keep others happy and could prove unexpectedly informative.
SAGITTARIUS NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 20
Little annoys you more than those whose obsession about pointless details delays otherwise simple plans. Still, don’t force issues. During this complex week, a range of unexpected, yet crucial, facts will surface. While some can be dealt with swiftly, others will prove so complex that understanding them will take weeks. Meanwhile, you’ll have learnt a valuable lesson.
CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 18
Ordinarily you’d never take a chance on an offer or idea without being sure of your facts. Yet the swift pace or promise of certain arrangements is forcing you to plunge in. You won’t regret it. While you might need to discuss minor details, things actually are as good as they seem. What’s more, just judging by the current rapid pace, it’s now or never.
AQUARIUS JANUARY 19 – FEBRUARY 17
Watching plans you struggled to organise unravel, as they have recently, is no fun. The experience has made you wary of exploring anything new. Yet that’s exactly what this week is about. So show interest, bearing in mind that you’re making no promises. What’s more, with the foundation on which arrangements would be based shifting until late March, you’ll want to take it slowly anyway.
PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19
You’re not only still dealing with the fallout from late February’s New Moon and the accompanying new ideas, since then you’ve started rethinking oncecherished goals. What’s more, you’re facing pressure to turn ideas into plans. Since this is inescapable, show interest, express your views but stop short of committing. It will require serious discipline and diplomacy but work out brilliantly.
