Red Bull Mu­sic Academy Week­ender is com­ing to Dubai from April 12 – 15, fea­tur­ing more than 30 in­ter­na­tional and re­gional artists, events, work­shops, par­ties and an ex­hi­bi­tion. The events will be spread out across venues on April 12 at the Mu­sic Hall, Steigen­berger Ho­tel, Kite Beach and d3. Per­form­ing artists in­clude GCC-based mul­ti­me­dia artist Za­hed Sul­tan; Axel Bo­man; DJ Kode9, Cal­i­for­nian hip-hop record­ing artist Earl Sweat­shirt and Dubai-based band Muhais­nah Four.

A pho­tog­ra­phy ex­hi­bi­tion called Be­yond the Noise will be hosted at d3 start­ing April 7 and fea­tures in­ti­mate and gritty por­traits of artists from around the globe. Tick­ets from Dh100 per day at plat­inum­list.net.

While you watch the orig­i­nal 1981 Os­car-win­ning film star­ring Har­ri­son Ford as In­di­ana Jones on the big screen mouthing iconic lines like ‘Why did it have to be snakes?’, John Wil­liams’ leg­endary score for the film will be per­formed live by the 21st Cen­tury Sym­phony Orches­tra.
