The UAE is go­ing green this week­end as cel­e­bra­tions for the Ir­ish fes­ti­val of St Pa­trick’s Day kick off. Here’s a list of events to bring you good cheer. Cel­e­brate with a night of mu­sic and prime cuts of dry aged meat at Graze in La Ville in City Walk, Dubai. Events are tak­ing place un­til March 19. Meal combo prices vary be­tween Dh400 and Dh500.

If you’re feel­ing like a lucky lep­rechaun tonight, you could go to C.mondo bar at Cen­tro Cap­i­tal Cen­tre Abu Dhabi where, in ad­di­tion to en­joy­ing Ir­ish dishes, you can par­tic­i­pate in a raf­fle to win two tick­ets to Yas Water­world or Ferrari World. Also at Cen­tro, C.taste restau­rant is of­fer­ing a St Pa­trick’s brunch to­day at 12.30pm, from Dh120 per per­son.

If you’ve been wait­ing for months to do an Ir­ish jig with­out be­ing laughed at, check out Saf­fron at At­lantis, The Palm’s St Paddy’sthemed brunch from 12.30pm – 4pm. There’ll be green decor, live cook­ing sta­tions and a DJ for Dh535 per per­son; call 04 426 2626.

For some­thing a lit­tle dif­fer­ent, dig into a green sham­rock-shaped burger be­ing served at sev­eral lo­ca­tions in Dubai to­day, in­clud­ing Bondi at Club­house Al Man­hal in Palm Jumeirah, Ca­bana at Club­house Azraq in Palm Jumeirah, Left Bank in Souk Mad­i­nat Jumeirah, and Après at Mall of Emi­rates – burg­ers start from Dh80. You’ll also find a green burger at Wave­breaker at Hil­ton JBR to­day – the XL St Paddy Burger comes with three se­lect bev­er­ages for Dh175, call 04 399 1111.
