How often have you arrived at your destination without your luggage because it has been misplaced? Samsonite, the American luggage manufacturer, is creating an innovative tracking device called Track&Go. Simply drop the device into your travel bag and its hi-tech Narrowband-IoT (NB-IoT) technology lets owners track their bags. This new geolocation technology is said to cover a wide range and has a long battery life so users can track and monitor their bags on their smartphones across long distances and over a long time without the device powering out or losing signal. The product is still being tested with telecom service providers Vodafone but keep an eye out – it will become commercially available around October 2017.
