STARGAZING

Shelley von Strunckel, one of the world’s top astrologers, writes a weekly forecast for Friday

-

ARIES MARCH 20 – APRIL 18

Since early March, you’ve faced confusion and a range of obstacles, all of which have been frustrating and slowed your pace. Finally circumstances permit frank conversations about these issues and, even better, Tuesday’s Aries New Moon leads to breakthroughs. However, these solutions aren’t instant, which means you’ll be doing lots of thinking, discussing and exploring, well into next week.

TAURUS APRIL 19 – MAY 19

You wish you could make, and stick with, a single plan. But with your ruler Venus retrograde, triggering analysis of past arrangements and questions about ongoing plans, issues you regarded as minor could prove unexpectedly revealing. Delve into these. The insights will draw your attention to ideas you’ve previously dismissed as being boring or not your thing. Now they might be perfect.

GEMINI MAY 20 – JUNE 20

When faced with dull people or tedious situations, you long for somebody to sweep in and reorganise everything. However, that’s happening and you’re not thrilled with the results. Don’t complain. Instead work with the individuals in question, even those whose views seem to differ from yours. Take a chance and discuss your concerns frankly. You’ll be surprised how helpful they are.

CANCER JUNE 21 – JULY 21

Saying farewell to long-standing plans, alliances or even dreams isn’t easy. Yet as each day of this dynamic but unsettling week unfolds, you’ll realise what once seemed perfect won’t really work. Better yet, you’ll soon spot far more promising arrangements, many of which are the result of the current cycle of unsettling changes. Explore everything. What seems least likely could turn out best.

LEO JULY 22 – AUGUST 21

You’re well aware it’s time to disentangle yourself from certain past arrangements. Equally, you’re eager to explore what’s in store. With your ruler the Sun and Tuesday’s New Moon both accenting ways you can broaden your horizons, your timing is superb. While putting those ideas into action could take longer than you anticipate, the resulting insights could make you relieved you were delayed.

VIRGO AUGUST 22 – SEPTEMBER 21

Having worked out the details of plans with great care, sudden events mean changing everything, often overnight. Obviously, this is annoying. However, you soon realise what’s going is being replaced by something far better and, often, which you’d never have thought of yourself. So go with the flow. And explore. In time the future will be clear but, for now, life’s about discovery.

LIBRA SEPTEMBER 22 – OCTOBER 22

Tempting as it is to help others untangle confusion regarding their life, loves or work, you’d soon regret even trying. With the actual situations in question changing, some radically, it’s about living through and learning from events. To a certain extent, it’s the same for you. Analysis of perplexing issues will yield little. Instead observe from the sidelines. You’ll be astonished how much you learn.

SCORPIO OCTOBER 23 – NOVEMBER 21

You’ve a knack for spotting potentially troublesome situations and individuals who’re best avoided. But now, bizarrely, those you’d assumed would be a nightmare aren’t just wonderful, you’re discovering they’re completely different from what you’d expected. Remember this when you’re about to refuse seemingly worrying offers. You’ll soon realise that they, too, are exactly what’s needed.

SAGITTARIUS NOVEMBER 22 – DECEMBER 20

The obvious way to deal with obstacles, yours or those causing problems for others, is to sidestep them. However, judging by the series of challenging aspects to your ruler Jupiter, these are about what you can learn, not making swift progress. So sideline future planning and, instead, focus on exploring everything you can do or learn, and meeting everybody you can. You won’t regret it.

CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21 – JANUARY 18

This week’s planetary setup brings the phrase ‘carefully crafted’ to mind. You’re always painstaking. But now, life’s about ongoing discussion and lots of questioning. In fact, what you discover could mean rethinking even long-standing plans. This process of exploration leads to options you’d never have conceived possible. While it’ll demand patience, you’ll soon learn why things had to wait.

AQUARIUS JANUARY 19 – FEBRUARY 17

Almost everybody is intrigued by, and eager to learn about, new ideas or events. But certain people have no interest in anything new or unfamiliar. Your challenge is to overcome this, and seduce them into exploring recent exciting developments. While you’ll achieve this, ironically, what you learn about the individuals in question could substantially alter your relationship with them.

PISCES FEBRUARY 18 – MARCH 19

Most Pisceans are adept at getting others to do what they want. The trick is to avoid being demanding but, instead, simply be charming. Now, however, you must take a stand. It’s about staking a claim or, perhaps, making it clear who’s boss in one particular situation. This seems out of character, but if you aren’t already aware why that’s important, you soon will be.
