Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilisation has opened its Moments in the Lives of
Muslims in China exhibition, featuring photographs by Peter Sanders. The photo essay of 50 large-scale images, captured over a span of 20 years, shows Muslims in the world’s most populous country going about everyday life at work, at school, at rest, and at worship; Islam was introduced into the country almost 1,400 years ago. Here’s a good place to start: World Art Dubai’s third edition, which they have confirmed returns on April 12 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Over 35 international and regional galleries and 120 artists will showcase accessible and affordable works. 3,000 paintings, prints, sculptures and photographs, ranging in value from Dh367 to Dh73,458, will be on sale.
